DSSG members toured the national laboratories at Lawrence Livermore and
Sandia in California. Members also used this time to continue their
research and conduct interviews as they further their efforts on their
study topics. They then visited the Creech and Nellis Air Force Bases,
where they received briefings on the 99 Ground Combat Training Squadron,
MQ-1/MQ-9, and visited Range 63, where they were able to observe
soldiers training and walk around the medical facility. They toured the
Threat Training Facility, received Red Flag, Combined Air Operations
Center and Green Flag mission briefs and an overview of the United
States Air Force Warfare Center.
