During this four-day session in Washington, DC, members spend time
presenting their proposed research "think piece" topics. They also
attended briefings by key members of congress in both the House and the
Senate, and senior government officials, including those in the
Department of Homeland Security and visited the National Biodefense
Analysis and Countermeasures Center at Fort Detrick.
